Dawn or Palmolive could be used to remove heavy soil from animal fur, kill fleas on your pets, and combined with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, remove some of your toughest stains!
The reason hydrogen peroxide is a key ingredient because of its oxidizing properties. It makes it a powerful cleaning solution and a disinfectant to kill germs and bacteria.
Baking soda, another key ingredient, is a mild alkali and can cause dirt and grease to dissolve easily in water. It is great to deodorize and whiten surfaces.
Combining these ingredients can break down your toughest stains! Unfortunately, I do not have any specific measurements since each stain requires a little more dish soap or alittle more hydrogen peroxide. The only rule I really follow is not to use more baking soda than hydrogen peroxide. For example, I combine 2 tablespoons of dish soap, 4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, and sprinkle baking soda to remove wine stains.
