Happy Howl o’Scream!

Sinister Clown Collection!

It is that time of year when we say goodbye to a scorching summer and finally say hello to a change in season that brings cooler temperatures, autumn colors, and more night light! It is also that time of year that my family along with many others that look forward to Halloween and all the spooktacular events.

Blood Orange Sunflowers!

On Halloween night, we lure frightening ghosts, sinister looking clowns, and candy eating tricksters to our haunted house!

The Witch’s Table!

We love to see children and adults get dressed up in spooky and not so spooky costumes! To make fright nights fun for our son and the neighborhood children (and the children at heart) leading up to the big day, we go all out with the spine-tingling decor!

Rising from the Dead!

At night, our spooky graveyard is plagued with eerie sounds to make a grown man’s heart faint thanks to a Spotify Halloween playlist and Bluetooth holiday lights.

One Way to Mourn!

As the Spirit Halloween store changes its animatronics each year, we continue to use a few old ones that still make our front yard scream worthy!  We still visit the store weekly just so we can get our scare on!

Creepy Protector of the Garveyard!

We not only love to decorate our home outside but we also love to decorate inside!

Spooky Skull Collection!

As we decorate for the big day at our new house, we wanted to share our hair-raisng ReCreative Soul ideas from previous years with fellow worshippers!

Skeleton in Coffin Party Invitation!

Be warned, if you use any of our spine-chilling ideas, you may cast a irrevocable spell to attract even more little witches and small goblins to the scene of the crime this blood chilling year!

The Hill is Brutal!

Because our ReCreative Souls go all out with creating frightening scenes, we have always been okay with some people avoiding our house altogether. Halloween is not for everyone.

The Prisoner in the Storage Shed!

Some people prefer springtime and the Easter holiday instead! We keep them in mind too!

Dedicated to those that prefer Spring!

Since Dia De Los Muertos (the Day of the Dead), a celebration of love ones that have passed, also starts on October 31st, we also use decor for this celebration.

The Calavera (Sugar Skull) Collection!

Also in October, local florists start selling dried orange Chinese laterns flowers that are beautiful and perfect for table center pieces. They are also great to reuse for Thanksgiving and if stored properly, next year’s festivities!

Dried Orange Chinese Latern Flowers!

The month of October also means a lot of Halloween parties and special events! For our Halloween party last year, we ordered Vampire wine that came in their own coffins! Order online now to make your next event a frightful night to remember!

Every Halloween Party Needs Vampire Wine!

Cooler temperatures also means fire pits and S’mores! Setting up a S’mores station is extremely inexpensive!

S’mores Station Prep!

Local grocery stores sell regular and jumbo marshmallows! We prefer jumbo and we simply use individually wrapped snack-size chocolate!

Snack-size Chocolate!

We set up a table near a small fire pit and buy extra long bamboo skewers so we don’t have to worry about children being too close to a fire!

Witch’s S’mores Station!

Even living in the city, we can still have farmhouse fun! Home Depot and Lowe’s sell hay stacks that could be used for additional seating around the fire pit.

Use Hay Stacks for Seating!

A s’mores station is always a big hit with children! We hope you were filled with spine chilling ideas and visit us soon! Happy Howl o’Scream!
